Although many of the graphic metaphors that make up Florence County School District Two's new brand identity are traditional, the new system was designed specifically for the 21st century. Today school districts communicate with their communities using a wide variety of apps and social media, so every element of the new identity was created with digital use in mind. The district utilized a grant to update the district's identity and Townsend™ donated the design work for the two schools in the district: Hannah Pamplico Elementary/Middle School and Hannah Pamplico High School.
